I love gays!
- Kid At School
I don’t. I don’t love gay people. I don’t love straight people. I don’t love white people, or Australians, or Doctor Who fans. Saying something like that - talking about a number of individuals as a group - takes away the individuality you praise them for.

So I wrote this in biology and it was quite coherent
(Much to my surprise)
Anyway, I liked the way it turned out, so I decided to post it
Basically, a rant about ignorant chavs at school and how I will destroy them all
One day.
Hey, so here’s a question I’m sick of hearing:
“Are you still a bisexual?”
- No, I am pansexual. I was never totally comfortable with “bisexual” and its connotations
- No, darling! So last year! Demisexual is all the rage in 2012! Didn’t you know?
- Given that you’re a straight, spotty gossiping cow, and I only date human beings, rather than vapid, human/Cheesy Wotsit hybrids, I don’t see how it’s any of your business
Honestly, unless it’s you I’m going out with, I don’t need to tell you. It’s not your right to know. At the moment, it’s mine, and mine alone.
I realise that in five, ten, thirty years, I will probably miss this - miss my least favourite thing being idiots at school, miss my main worry being what comes out of the woodwork at parents’ evening, miss having my whole day being made worthwhile because I made one of my friends laugh.
But that doesn’t bother me. I’m young (ish). I’ll live while I can. Albeit with Radio 4 on in the background.
What bothers me most about this question is the word “still”. It’s not a fad, I’m afraid. This freak’s here to stay. When I say I’m pansexual, I mean it. I’ve thought about it, like when I say I’m a feminist, or a pacifist, or pangender.
God, I can’t wait to drop that bombshell. Their faces might just make all this bearable.

Hello!
If you’re here, there’s a good chance that you already follow me (Nat) and haven’t noticed that I’ve changed URL.
But, as you’ve probably guessed, I have, and now live here.
(The URL was my friend Misha’s idea. She bullied me into it, I swear.)
Feel free to say hi to me, as I still don’t bite. Mostly.
If you don’t follow me, then I suppose you’re probably here because you like this URL and wanted to see if anyone already claimed it. Sadly, it has been, and I’m not even using it that much. I realise this is incredibly annoying - it’s probably my pet hate on Tumblr, if not yours.
However, I adore this poem, and the play, Frankenstein, where I first came across it. I was really pleased to get hold of this URL the first time, and didn’t want to lose it.
As it happens, then, this will probably become a personal blog where I will upload my blurry photos and clumsy writing. Feel free to take a look/read, and say hi to me at my usual blog.
The third possibility is, of course, that you’re just somebody who has stumbled across this little post by mistake, via a typo or out-of-date link. Thanks for sticking around, you mad, mad person.
Or of course you could always be my mum. Hi, Mum. How are you?
